1. NZ Lay Preachers’ Association Annual General Meeting
Date: Sunday, 29th October, 7:30pm
Location: Online (Zoom)
The NZ Lay Preachers’ Association AGM is a wonderful chance to reflect on the achievements of the past year, connect with fellow members, and shape the future direction of our association. The meeting will include reports, important updates, and the election of the executive team.
Whether you preach regularly or are involved in leading worship in any capacity, your voice is essential.
2. Methodist Lay Preachers Network Annual General Meeting
Date: Monday, 4th November, 7:30pm
Location: Zoom (Meeting ID: 894 7123 0844, Passcode: 325346)
The Methodist Lay Preachers Network AGM will discuss the ministry of lay preachers in Methodist, Union, and Co-operating parishes. All lay preachers, including those who lead worship in any way, are warmly encouraged to join us.

3. In-Person Gathering at Waiwhetu Uniting Church
Date: Sunday, 10th November, after the 10:00am service
Location: Waiwhetu Uniting Church 6 Trafalgar Street, Waiwhetu, Lower Hutt, 50
This in-person gathering is open to Lay Preachers from across denominations, not just Methodist. Whether you preach or lead worship in other ways, we’d love to have you join us for brunch after the morning service, followed by conversations on Lay Preacher issues .
