Dear Members,
I wanted to keep you informed of some important updates regarding the upcoming NZ Lay Preachers’ Association Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, 29th October 2024, at 7:30 pm.
We’ve made some key changes to the nominations section. In addition to filling the role of Correspondence Secretary – with Kirstie Prangley nominated by Linda Hall and Richard Small – we also have three current executive members who were appointed after last year’s AGM and are now standing for election:
- Matila Amani (Treasurer)
- Marissa Alix (Registrar)
- Richard Small (Minute Secretary)
As always, we also welcome nominations for Executive Members without portfolio to help fill recent vacancies on our committee.

Please RSVP if you haven’t already, as this helps us ensure we can plan accordingly and send out key information, such as the Zoom link and reports, to all attendees. If you’re unable to attend, we still welcome your input and invite you to stay informed via the reports that will be shared post-meeting.
I also encourage you to spread the word to fellow members and anyone else who might be interested but hasn’t yet received this information. Our email list is not fully up-to-date, and your help in making sure everyone is informed is greatly appreciated.
