The New Zealand Lay Preachers’ Association (NZLPA) is excited to share the latest updates on our new website! We’re making great strides in creating a more accessible, engaging, and functional online space for our community of lay preachers and worship leaders.
What to Expect:
- Improved Member Services: Our new website will provide a hub for managing communication, subscriptions, and payments, all in one place.
- Mobile-Friendly Design: We’re ensuring that the site works beautifully across all devices, whether you’re at home or on the go.
- Future Online Learning: As part of our forward-thinking approach, we’re setting up the platform to support future online learning initiatives.
What’s Done
- Events Hub
Our new website now hosts event listings, RSVP functionality, and a dedicated email list for event updates, ensuring you never miss an opportunity to connect or participate. - Newsletter Infrastructure
The framework for regular newsletters is live, starting with Time to Learn event notices and Governance Notices. The Association Newsletter and other specific-purpose newsletters are on the way.
What’s Changed
As we transition to the new site, all new events and posts will only be available on the new platform. The old website will remain accessible for archived content but will no longer host new updates.

- Education Opportunities
We’re working to provide information about relevant courses and papers from New Zealand’s theology education providers to support your ongoing learning and development as lay preachers. - User-Submitted Resource Reviews
We’re building a collection of reviews to help you discover resources that enhance your ministry and worship preparation. Share your favourite books, tools, or websites with the NZLPA community by emailing editor@nzlpa.org.nz.
